Christmas continued

Today is Morgan's 15th birthday. Happy birthday Morgan. You are a joy to Grandpa and I and to your whole family.

After worship we came home to a Chinese food Christmas dinner. Peder, Sarah, and Aurelia came down from the cities and visited Steve. They all came over to share our dinner with Amy's family. (Amy provided the food...Thank you Amy.) We did our annual telling of the Christmas story and opened our gifts. A good time was had by all and Aurelia was so sweet to help everyone open their gifts. She also repeated the Christmas story as we took turns reading the Scriptures. We played some threes and ate a few more snacks.

Just a little updating. David and I went to Tim and Julie's and celebrated Christmas with them. Then on to Troy and Andrea's where we actually got to spend Christmas Day. It is the first time we had not been at home for Christmas in years. Andrea, Morgan and I baked a ton, did some last minute shopping and wrapping.

David and I came home through the snow in Iowa but had a safe trip. It just took a little longer than it would have normally because of the weather. We thank God for a safe trip.

I want to wish all of you a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
